About
Hello fellow developers! I'm Aritra Sen, a passionate software enthusiast embarking on a coding adventure. Originally from San Diego,
California, I found my way back to India with my parents, completing my B.Tech in Mechanical
Engineering at IIT Kharagpur from 2019 to 2023. But here's the twist – I consider myself more of
a software developer than a Mech Engineer. In 2022, life threw a curveball at me with a train
accident that cost me my left foot. After a year of surgeries, I'm back, fully recovered, and
diving back headfirst into the coding world.
During my time as a Software Engineer Intern in Bangalore, I got hands-on experience with real-time
anomaly detection and asset failure prediction using RNN. I boosted accuracy by 25% and delved deep
into ML and AI, developing Dashboards, and CI/CD Pipelines.
While recovering from the accident, I became an active contributor to the open-source community and
crafted my own libraries and tools. From enhancing modules in Ansible Community General to creating
a sleek TUI Audio Player called Teamus in Go, venturing into LaTeX for a CV template, and building
a library for tab completions in JS/TS CLI apps – I've been on a coding spree. Let's not forget my
exploration of astronomical calculations in Zig. I've also worked with Svelte and Tailwind for blog
development.
Whether it's C++, C, Python, Go, Lua, Zig, Svelte, or Tailwind – I'm not loyal to one language; I
pick what gets the job done. And, if you want to know the secret to learning any language or tool
fast (no kidding, I am pretty quick at it!), you're in the right place. This blog
is my space to share coding insights, project stories, and a sprinkle of life lessons. Join me on
this coding journey! 🚀
